What is AAI?
AAI is an acronym for ASCENDING ABILITIES INSTITUTE. (By Ascending Abilities International LTD)
AAI is an educational institution dedicated to providing a wide range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses at an affordable cost. All learning activities, materials and content are provided online and in classroom using modern delivery models to make learning more engaging. On completion of an AAI course, it will give you recognised University credits to then “top up” at one of our UK University partners, saving you time and money.
Does AAI have a Campus?
Yes, and AAI operate a standard campus model; We operates a unique teaching model which creates real life scenarios while studying. All AAI lectures are held in comfortable, luxurious environments. We believe that education should be inspiring. All our graduates have a unique mindset as they are encouraged to become world class business leaders.
Does AAI provide Job for Students?
No, AAI do not provide jobs for students but can assist with the search and recommendations as requested.
About the Courses
Will I be writing an Examination?
All AAI programmes are assessed by assignments, coursework, dissertation/thesis only, there are no exams. Students may be required to write examination for partner Universities. Do NOT worry we are here to guide you properly.
Will I really get a BA (Hons) or BSc(Hons) in 3 years or less?
Yes, students who successfully complete their diploma/degree on time (Accelerated Study Model) will receive a diploma from our partner awarding body and then proceed to (Top-Up Degree) with our UK partner University. After successful completion of our diploma/degree, BA or BSc in related filed will be issued by the University you followed your studies with.
What is the duration for each program?
Depends on your profile, the undergraduate pathway program will be completed within 12 to 24 months each program or level. And the BA or BSc final year top-up (12 to 18 months). The postgraduate MBA or MA or MSc top up duration is 4 to 18 months. Young students below the age of 16 years may be required to add a foundation year, which is the Level 3 or student without school certificate.
Can I go to the UK for graduation?
Students who have successfully completed their studies will graduate in the UK or/and Mauritius, at the University Campus they studied with. Subject to successful entry visa/permit application approval.

Is this accredited globally?
Yes, AAI, awarding bodies partners programs are globally acknowledged (accredited and recoginzed) with the progression partners in the United Kingdom, Australia and United States of America. AAI is accredited by our Awarding Body in the United Kingdom as a degree pathway institution, offering level 4, 5, 6, 7 & programs. (equivalent to Year 3 UK University bachelor’s degree ¬& University Postgraduates Studies)
What are the specialisations available?
After completion of any level or all levels. Please check the programmes to enrol for the perfect program.
- Level 4 and 5 Diploma (pathway) - BA/BSc top up
- 6 Diplomas (Graduate Diploma) - eqvailent to Bachelor degree
- Level 7 Diploma (pathway) MA/MSc top up
- Level 8 Diploma (pathway) Doctorate - DBA & PhD.
Can I complete all the program online or oncampus?
Yes, all or part program(s) can be completed online or/and oncampus from start to finish. Top-up or Transfer program can also be done in the issuing university abroad.
How is assessment or assignment done?
Each course has a quiz or project. The completion of the entire module will indicate student has satisfied learning and reading time. Assignment will be given to complete the Level enrolled.
What if I fail a module, what next?
In the event of a failure of any module, the exams and records office will investigate how the student can be supported going forward. Resit charges may apply.
Can I proceed to earn a PhD. degree with this?
Yes, the MBA or MA or MSc degree earned or the Level 8 Doctorate Degree Pathway may qualify for a DBA/PhD. degree program. Kindly contact the issuing universities for details. Our admission team can also support in the search.
Will online study or distance learning be reflected on my degree certificate?
? No. Your degree certificate will not be different from those who studied and graduated on-campus.
How much is the cost of study at AAI?
Standard application fee 150 USD.
Undergraduate tuition fee per year 5,000 USD, Postgraduate tuition fee per year 5,000 – 8,000 USD
Scholarship available: 10% up to 50%
ONCAMPUS : Accommodation - 150 to 250 USD per month

What are the entry requirements for undergraduates?
For the undergraduate, here are the basic entry requirements:
Foundation Level 3 (No requirement) & Level 4/5 Diploma
Three Years University (Year 1 & Year 2) Level 4 & 5 Diploma: WAEC / SSCE / NECO / OND / HND
What are the entry requirements for postgraduates?
For the postgraduate pathway program, here are the basic entry requirements: Graduate & Postgraduate Level 6 & 7 diploma.
Mature learners with management experience (learners must submit a resume and career development courses) BSc, BBA, OND / HND
What are the entry requirements for doctorate degree?
For the doctorate degree pathway program, here are the basic entry requirements: Postgraduate Level 8 diploma.
Mature learners with management experience (learners must submit a resume and career development courses) MBA/MSC, BSc, BBA, OND / HND, SSCE etc.
Can I enrol on the MBA pathway program with OND / HND certificate?
Yes, the OND/HND certificate can be processed for a postgraduate pathway program. Top executives with valuable work experience can be converted for an entry qualification. Kindly speak with the admissions office.
What is the minimum CGPA required for admission?
A grade of 2:1 / 2:2 is appropriate.
Every University graduate with successful completion of their undergraduate program can enrol for a pathway program. The admissions team will evaluate the courses offered and suggest according to guarding rules of the institution. Prospective students with less than 2:2 (second class lower) should speak with admission office.
Do you have a payment plan?
Yes, we can work with students to structure a payment plan fit for their specific work and income expectation.
VISA Program
What type of visa is required to travel abroad for the Top-up or Transfer program?
Top-up study program abroad spanning 4 – 24 months will require a student visa by required authorities of the government abroad. You can contact country immigration website for details or embassy.
Will there be visa assistance?
Our protocol team will assist our students on a top-up or transfer program abroad with all student visa details required. All payment incurred will be paid by student, including visa fee or service charge.
